QIMR Postgraduate Program
Appropriately qualified graduates can undertake research towards the following
degrees in the fields of science and medical science at QIMR:
- Bachelor of Science(Hons)
- Bachelor of Medical Science
- Master of Philosophy
- Doctor of Philosophy
In each case, the student is enrolled through a university (usually the University
of Queensland) and undertakes their research at QIMR under the supervision of a
QIMR scientist. Often, UQ supervisors are also involved. Many senior QIMR scientists
hold joint or conjoint appointments with Departments at the University of Queensland,
enabling them to be principal supervisors.
Eligibility and conditions for completion of the degree are those of the enrolling university.
