The QIMR student body is a diverse group of Australian and international students involved in a wide range of research endeavours.
The Institute is located close to major teaching hospitals and The University of Queensland Medical School, UQ School of Population Health and Queensland University of Technology, making it ideal for clinical research collaborations. Its central location within the Herston campus of the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital makes it an ideal facility for research seminars, symposia and teaching courses.
