How to find us
We are located at 300 Herston Rd, Herston. QIMR occupies two buildings, the Bancroft Centre and Clive Berghofer Cancer Research Centre in the hospital precinct next to the Royal Children's Hospital.

Parking

Parking facilities are very limited around the hospital precinct, but the nearest parking complex is the Wilson Parking station opposite the Clive Berghofer Cancer Research Centre on Herston Road.  For information about hourly rates and opening times, please visit the Wilson Parking website.

 

Public transport

Bus: The nearest bus stop is the Royal Children's Hospital bus stop on the Northern Busway, which is directly across the road from the Institute. The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital bus stop on the Northern Busway is a 10 minute walk from our entrance.

Train: Bowen Hills or Brunswick Street (Fortitude Valley) train stations are a 20 minute walk from the Institute.
